The Civil War in Georgetown: A Guided Walk in a City Divided

Description

Join a ranger on a walk to learn about Georgetown during one of the most turbulent chapters in American history. From the divided loyalties of Georgetown residents to the presence of Union soldiers, this tour reveals the hidden stories of a community caught between North and South. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. This hike will utilizesidewalks that can be narrow and uneven at times. It will traverse nearly twomiles of neighborhood streets in theGeorgetown area of DC.

There are no public facilities available on this hike.

Recommended for ages 12 and up.
