Glacier National Park

North Shore Discovery Hike

Description

Imagine Glacier National Park as it was 10,000 years ago when the Pleistocene glaciers were receding, leaving the landscape void of vegetation. Flash forward to today’s lush landscape. As you walk the north shore of Two Medicine Lake, enjoy a multitude of wildflowers, shrub-filled avalanche chutes, and cool, shaded forests. Easy 2-mile (3.2 km) hike.
