Meet the Appalachian Trail - Ranger Hike

Description

Learn about the history of the Appalachian Trail (AT) through a 30-minute presentation with maps, photos, and information on the famous hikers that made the AT what it is today.
After the presentation, enjoy a two-mile hike on the AT and learn about thru hiking, including trail safety, camping, outdoor ethics, and what to expect when spending a season in the woods.
This presentation is hosted by a ranger who is a former AT thru-hiker and ridgerunner.
