Leon A. Waters, historian, social activist, and publisher of the book On To New Orleans: Louisiana's Heroic 1811 Slave Revolt will present a program entitled "What was the Aim of the Heroic Charles Deslondes Revolt?" This special program is about the largest slave revolt in United States history, which took place on this date in 1811, just up the river from New Orleans.

This program is free and open to the public.
