Beginner Paddling Workshop at Hidden Lake

Description

Interested in learning to safely kayak or canoe? Maybe you need to get more comfortable with out on the water?
Learn from the park's river rangers! At this beginner workshop, you will learn how to pick out and fit a lifejacket, use essential safety items, paddling techniques, and how to read the water.
These new skills will be put to the test on Hidden Lake, which is a calm, still water lake - perfect for practicing!
All equipment is provided. This program is for all ages and skill levels. Safety equipment is required to be used and used properly while participating.
Stop in anytime between 10am and 2pm to participate.
