Join us for our "10th Anniversary World Heritage Academic Symposium: 10 Years of Scholarship and Partnership”
When? Friday, August 15th, from 9 AM to 3 PM
Where? Visit Mission San José - Visitor Center Theater (6701 San Jose Dr., San Antonio, Texas, 78214)
What? To celebrate scholarship, collaboration and partnership in the preservation and education of San Antonio Missions National Historical Park over this past decade. This symposium will feature an impressive lineup of academics who have made significant contributions to our mission.
The day will kick off at 9am with a Welcome Reception, followed by Opening Remarks by Superintendent Christine Jacobs honoring Bexar County. In this academic symposium, we’ll hear from:
-Bill Dupont and Angela Lombardi from the UTSA Center for Cultural Sustainability
-Kelton Sheridan from the University of Texas - Austin
-Pam Rosser from The Alamo
-Brian Mast from the San Antonio River Authority
-Sarah Wigley from the UTSA Center for Archaeological Research
-Anna Nau from Ford, Powell & Carson
-Allison Young from the National Park Service
